A collaboration with fellow Appalachian State alum, Ashton Allen, "Allez!" is a juniors capsule collection that explores nostalgic girlhood and the role that dress plays in a young girl's exploration of self. It tells the story of a girl playing dress up in her grandmother's closet, wearing vintage plaids and furs and getting them messy as she runs through the streets with her friends. Our inspiration comes from silhouettes and color schemes of the 1960s, with small details influenced by military uniforms from the 1950s.

Each look was designed in collaboration with Ashton, and looks #1 and #2 were drafted and created by me.

 

This collection utilizes primarily secondhand and deadstock materials in order to minimize our environmental impact. Each fabric used had a previous life, reflecting our collections connection to the past as well as our commitment to sustainable design.
